With the demand for laser profiling swamping the industry, Kare Sheet Metal Products has decided
to invest in the Amada FOL-3015, the first of its kind in South Africa.
The secret behind the speed of the Amada FOL-3015 lies in
its design. Amada engineers have reduced the weight of the laser head considerably.
In addition, the use of innovative material means the new linear drives
weigh only a tenth of conventional linear drives.
These factors assist the FOL to achieve an axis speed of 240m/min with acceleration values of 5g.
It is, however, not the only laser cutting machine in our factory. We boast a total of 4 laser cutting machines which run on a 24-hour basis to ensure quick
turn-around times to our customers.
